NOAH:
Paramount’s Adam Goodman tells THR that Saoirse Ronan and Jennifer Connelly are going to join Russell Crowe in Darren Aronofsky‘s Noah epic. Oh, and the budget will be around $125 million.
“It will be a big, robust production and will have tremendous scale. It’s the perfect combination of casting [Russell Crowe, Saoirse Ronan and Jennifer Connelly] and a remarkable adventure. This isn’t what you think of when you think of Darren, but it will be very true to him as a filmmaker. It will be PG-13 and will likely cost around $125 million.”
UNTITLED SPIKE JONZE FILM:
Rooney Mara is set to replace Carey Mulligan in a new untitled film by Spike Jonze. The film is about a man who gets too attached to the voice of a computer. Amy Adams and Samantha Morton are already set to star. Joaquin Pheonix is rumored to play the lead. Mulligan had to back out due to scheduling issues. [Variety]

Andrea Riseborough will join Alexander Skarsgard in Warner Bros. new horror film, Hidden, written and directed by the Matt and Ross Duffer. Andrea Riseborough is a up and coming actress who’s been spending most of her time in art house festival flicks. She’s set to star in Welcome To The Punch with James McAvoy and Oblivion with Tom Cruise. [Variety]

Josh Duhamel (Transformers) is in negotiations to lead Nicholas Sparks‘ Safe Haven about a woman who arrives in a small North Carolina town only to fuck up the life of a widowed store owner and his two children.. or something to that effect. [Variety]

Scarlett Johansson confirmed that she will not be making an appearance as Black Widow in Iron Man 3. [Screen Rant]
