Danny McBride is set to write, produce, and star in a new film called Clown based off the Danish film of the same name, Klovn. Todd Phillips will produce as well as Casper Christensen and Frank Hvam — the creators of the original sitcom that Klovn was based on.

Klovn is about two guys named Casper and Frank who go on a crazy “Tour de Pussy” canoe trip looking for adventure and sex. However, Frank discovers his girlfriend is pregnant, and in trying to mature up, he decides to bring his eleven-year-old son along for the ride. You can only expect awkwardness, chaos, and debotury to ensue.
There is yet to be a start date for production, but McBride is reportedly to start working on the project “immediately”.
