These 5 new images for Christopher Nolan‘s The Dark Knight Rises come to you from the newest issue of Entertainment Weekly. The pictures feature Christian Bale in his awesome Batman suit, Tom Hardy as Bane, and Gary Oldman as Jim Gordon.

Yes. It has finally hit the web in all its wonder and glory. This is not the 7 minute prologue you get to see in IMAX before Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol. This is a standalone trailer for the film. It does a great job in building tension and hinting at all the craziness to come. Definitely a fitting trailer for the end of Nolan’s batman series. The trailer doesn’t really give anything away. I literally have no idea what the story is. All I know from the trailer is that this movie is going to be big. Very, very big.
