Alexander Skarsgard to Star in New Thriller ‘Hidden’

Skarsgard-13-600x400

As soon as he’s done with True Blood I have a feeling we’ll be seeing a lot of Alexander Skarsgard on the big screen. Recently starring in Melancholia and Straw Dogs, Skarsgard will appear in Battleship later this year. New reports tell us that Skarsgard is now set to star in an upcoming thriller from Warner Bros. titled Hidden. The movie being described as “an elevated horror-thriller about a family hiding in a bomb shelter after escaping a mysterious outbreak.” Sounds like Take Shelter meets 28 Days Later?

New Clip: Gina Carano and Channing Tatum Beat the Sh*t Out of Each Other in ‘Haywire’

Haywire

More Haywire news. Hulu has released the first 5 minutes of Steven Soderbergh‘s next film. Apparently it’s going to be one of his last films. After Haywire, Soderbergh plans on shooting two more films (The Side Effects and Behind the Candelabra) and then retiring. Unfortunately, because this clip is on Hulu, only American audiences can view it.  I’m sure it will be up on YouTube soon enough (it probably already is).

The clip features stars Gina Carano and Channing Tatum talking for approximately 3 minutes, and then beating the shit out of each other for the last 2. Be sure to check out the trailer, pictures, and poster we put up the other day.
