A new ABC TV show The River, by Oren Peli (Paranormal Activity) just had a trailer released. It has the same documentary/found footage style as Peli’s previous films. The show is about a crew on a research vessel looking for a missing TV explorer in the Amazon rain-forest. Sounds interesting. I’m always in for an adventure.
The pilot was directed by Jaume Collet-Serra (Orphan), written by Michael R. Perry and Michael Green (Heroes, Kings), and stars Bruce Greenwood, Joe Anderson and Leslie Hope. It looks like we may be in for a few jumps.
